Barclays Premier League
In January 2023, Unique Visuals NY contracted to fabricate a wall build-out for the Barclays Premier League in Philadelphia. For the second year in a row, our client came to us, trusting in our experience, to create and build a wall that influencers and sports fans would want to snap a few pictures in front of and share with the world. However, this year, the wall needed to be even better than the last one, and what could be better than a back-lit soccer ball? We began with rough sketches, working with our designers, lighting engineer, and fabrication team to build a showstopping wall. Since the event was in Philadelphia, the wall needed to be modular, so transport from our facilities in NYC to Phily was smooth.
After the concept was approved, we began color matching to Barclay’s cyan color, fabricating the LED lights, cutting out the channels for the lights to lay in within the soccer ball, and putting final touches, such as paint and side walls. Once completed and ready for the event, we carefully broke it down, packaged it securely, and hauled it out with our trusted installers driving it down to the event site. They worked on rebuilding the wall at the location, putting its pieces together like a puzzle and turning it on to show its allure. We also provided promo giveaways such as Barclay’s soccer balls and direct printed foam credit card replicas for their claw machines and prizes. UV also produced A-frames and vinyl cut letters delivered and installed in time for the event.
This year, Unique Visuals NY had the pleasure of working with Roc Nation, ESM Productions, and Tribe Designs, as well as the Brooklyn Public Library, on an exhibit of a lifetime. The "Book of Hov,” an expansive exhibition, offered insight into Jay-Z's most significant moments, creativity, and success. History was made at the Grand Army Central Library this summer, with over 39,000 people attending the exhibit from opening day, July 14th to July 20th, 2023!
Unique Visuals NY's responsibilities were to cover over 20,000 square feet with vinyl! One aspect was installing over 14,000+ sq feet of various lyrics from some of Jay-Z’s most iconic raps and covering the entire front facade of a 100-year-old treasured building. For the interior, we took Jazz Grant’s, a London-based female collage artist, vision and expanded it across over 6000 sq feet of mezzanine space.
Brookfield for Third at Bankside - 2401 Third Ave, Bronx, NY
One of our long-standing real estate development clients, Brookfield Properties, wanted to present one of their new constructions in an enticing and welcoming way. Since the building at 2401 Third Ave in the Bronx was under construction as a recent development, Brookfield wanted to provide potential new residents a walkthrough to the leasing office without a sore sight of green wood scaffolds, aluminum pipes, and construction hats.
After a comprehensive survey by our experienced install team, the work of printing vinyl adhesive and vinyl banners to adorn the path began. Once finished and quality checked, the UV install team set to beautify a construction site allowing future residents a glimpse of what Third at Bankside would offer.
Narrative Group - For Petlife
The Narrative Group, a creative agency in NYC, came to Unique Visuals in May 2023 with a project that required printing, fabrication, and installation for their client, Petlife. The task was to rebrand the Animal Haven location at 200 Centre St for a photo shoot and adoption event. After a completed site survey by our trusted and experienced install team, and once we received the final files, UV set out to work. Printing on our HP wide format printer, we produced matte laminated vinyl adhesives that were then quality-checked and ready to install on the counter, desk, training room windows, and wood laminate pedestals.
In addition, our team dye-sublimated a giant 10ft x 10ft fabric backdrop for adorable pet photos. Printing the client’s exact branded colors was paramount; ensuring the colors translated well and matched all the printed material required a few test runs. The day before the photoshoot, UV’s install team headed to the location, under the client’s guidance and with mockups in hand, installed a fabulous picture-perfect space ready for a shoot.
Mada Luxe Group for Timex at Missoni
Mada Luxe Group, a manufacturer and distributor of luxury goods, came to Uniue Visuals in November 2022 to assist them in fabricating graphics for a Timex event at the NYC Missoni Flagship location. Needed were large mounted boards with high-quality images that could stand without easels or floor mounts. The objective was clean lines with little distraction from the beautiful luxurious images. In addition, UV’s production team wrapped mirrored vinyl around pillars to provide an alluring space for Timex’s products to shine bright and a Missoni-branded table. Our install team arrived at the store early and completed the installation before the event launch; then, when over, we revisited to do a strike, removing all products and leaving the space as if nothing had changed.
Eqpt for RXR at 340 madison
Eqpt, an interior design and logistics management company, came to Unique Visuals NY to make their vision for their client a reality. Their client, RXR, a real estate owner, investor, and developer (also a longtime Unique Visuals NY client), needed a tour path created at 340 Madison Ave for potential residents to view the building's services and amenities. An entire floor displayed beautiful images of leasing spaces, a giant NYC map, and wall graphics. Upon entering the area, visitors set their sight on a 6500K white LED 340 madison backlit logo made of 2” high fabricated stainless steel. Walking further into the space, they come to face with beautiful images of NYC buildings, parks, and some of 340’s amenities and office spaces.
UV printed these stunning images on optically clear vinyl, backed them up with white vinyl, then mounted them behind ¼” clear acrylic. The large pieces were then attached to the walls with silver standoffs. Large matte laminated vinyl adhesives also enhanced the space with recurring themes of soundwaves guiding visitors from one area to the next. To further allow potential prospectors to navigate the space, floor decals provided color-coordinated walking paths for each section. Another homage to sound, the area has a dedicated wall featuring the room’s tagline, “Space that speaks volumes.” Each 10” high letter is fabricated from ½” clear acrylic and painted in one of the four PMS colors, tying the display all together. The words do indeed speak volumes as they take the foreground to black vinyl, with white soundwaves, once again reminding visitors that not only vision, but sound can be profoundly beautiful.
